When you enquire, book a visit, or enroll as a resident, we collect information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, address, guardian details, and payment records needed to manage your stay.
How We Use It
We use this information to manage room and bed assignments, generate invoices and process payments, communicate notices and updates, and respond to enquiries and maintenance requests. We do not use it for anything beyond running the hostel.
Who Can See It
Resident information is only accessible to hostel staff (owner and warden accounts) who need it to do their jobs, and to a resident's linked guardian for that resident's own room and billing information. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Payments
Payments made through eSewa or Khalti are processed directly by those providers under their own privacy and security policies. We store only the payment status and receipt details needed for your invoice records — we never see or store your card, PIN, or wallet credentials.
Data Retention
We keep resident and billing records for as long as needed for hostel administration and to meet any applicable legal or financial record-keeping requirements, even after a resident checks out.
